Devil Horns in the bath!

Stephen's finally got enough hair for me to make devil horns!!

But, Robert didn't like them so he flattened them out.
Then, he decided to make his own horns. But these look a lot more like longhorns. :)

Stephen's First Green Beans!

This is Stephen's first bite of non-cereal "real" food... green beans. He loved them. We've now moved on to squash and he loves that too! Next up is carrots!

Boating!

We spent a weekend in Central Oregon and went for a boat ride on South Twin Lake. It was Stephen's first! It was a beautiful day, but I don't think I'll be enjoying fishing for a few more years. I spent all my time helping Robert and taking care of Stephen. "Get me my juice box, mom" thirty seconds later, "get me my crackers, mom" etc. etc. Fun stuff.

Silver Falls Camping Trip

Wow, three blog posts in one day! I'm on a roll....

This last weekend we went camping at Silver Falls. I've been there many times, but have never camped there. It was fun to spend the weekend. Camping with two little boys and two dogs is a challenge, but worth it in the end! We went hiking the first day, but couldn't hike down below the falls like we wanted to because there were no dogs allowed on the trail. :( There's always next time. Yesterday morning, we rode our bikes along a supposedly "easy" four-mile bike path. Woooo! Gary and I got a workout! Gary had both boys in the bike trailer (at least 50 pounds!) and I am just out of practice on a bike. But we did it and survived and earned a trip to Burgerville on the way home.

Yes, Stephen is on my back somewhere!
I think this is Robert's last summer in the backpack!

Memorial Day Camping

We went to the Ochocos in Central Oregon for our annual Memorial Day camping trip with friends. Robert LOVED camping and playing with all the other kiddos. He got dirty, rode on quads, roasted marshmallows, learned how to open peanuts, ate the "good" food at the Voss camp (thanks, Andrea!). Stephen did very well camping, too. It took him a while to get used to his new bed in the trailer, but after the first night, he did just fine.

Robert wanted me to take a picture of his Cheeto hands.

Boys in the pool!

Stephen's first "pool time". I think he liked it! Not sure about his face in the first picture, though.
